The EPAP-Jury met during three days in May in Paris. Their decision was formally presented at the Rencontres D'Arles on July 6, 2011.
The 2011 winner is the Italian photographer Davide Monteleone (born 1974) with his project »Red Thistle« about the Northern Caucasus.

The book will be published in March 2012. The first edition will be published by each of the five publishers in their own country and in their own language. The first print run will be a minimum of 5,000 copies.
